Half term!

I hope you're enjoying your time off so far. Make the most of your time with family and friends.

Don't forget your homework!
Reading challenge: read as many books as you can! After you have chosen your favourite book create a PowerPoint. The PowerPoint will be about the book you would like to recommend to a friend.
Maths homework: use your doubling knowledge to work out the answers. Use the doubling diamonds like we have in school and put the answers into the robot function machines to make them work.

Have a great time.

Scrapyard Stories!

This week we are writing our own scrapyard stories. Our story writing skills are already great but we can make our stories more effective. To make our stories more effective we need to add creative adjectives. Remember adjectives are describing words. EG, twisted metal.

For the rest of this week there will be a sticker for anyone who brings in some creative adjectives for their stories.

Miss Coonick.

Our art work.

For our art work this term we are studying an artist called Paula Wilkes. Her art work is all about collaging and we have started to create our own collages.
For our next lesson we need lots of materials to be brought in from home, these could be buttons, wrapping paper, wool or netting to name a few. We are aiming to have lots of different textures.

Our work is only a4 so make sure the materials aren't massive!

Thank you in advance for anything you are able to provide.

Homework

Hello 3/4C.

Remember that homework needs to come in on the correct days.

Your English homework (yellow folder) needs to be in on a Friday.
Your Mathematics homework (red folder) needs to be in on a Monday.

With your homework make sure your presentation is super. It should be as good as you would do it in school! :). Also make sure you practise your spelling before your spelling test on a Friday.

I'm looking forward to seeing the rest of your wanted posters next week.

Have a great weekend!
Miss Coonick :).
